AT THE CORE

1 —  STAYING ANCHORED

We are rooted in faith and led by truth.
When life feels chaotic or unclear, we come back to God’s Word, to prayer, and to the quiet strength of what matters most. Like the song my dad used to sing—the anchor holds. No matter the storm, we know where home is.

2 — BEING INTENTIONAL

We try to live with thoughtfulness and purpose. That shows up in how we spend our time, steward our resources, raise our children, and build our home. It’s not about perfection—it’s about choosing what matters and letting go of what doesn’t. We lean into slow living and minimalism—not to have less, but to make more room for what really matters.

3 — CREATING A HAVEN

Our home is our safe place—
a refuge for our family and a welcome space for others. We value simplicity, peace, and rhythms that make room for connection. Whether it’s a warm meal, a quiet moment, or kids laughing in the living room, we want our home to feel like a little glimpse of grace.

our story

We met at church camp as young adults. Nothing dramatic happened back then, but looking back, we can see that God was planting something small. A few years later, our paths crossed again—and this time, we knew: this was the beginning of something real.

We got married in 2015 and jumped into life together—figuring things out as we went, leaning on God, and holding tight to each other through every season. Since then, we’ve welcomed four boys and walked through our share of joy, loss, growth, and grace. We’ve seen God’s faithfulness in both the quiet and the chaotic.

Jacob’s been a firefighter since the start of our marriage—steady and servant-hearted. He’s faced some hard parts of his past and grown in ways that only God could make possible. As for me, I’ve followed a creative path—photography, design, homemaking—all ways I’ve been able to bring beauty and purpose into our everyday life.

Over the years, we’ve felt pulled to live slower. To be more intentional with our time, wiser with our resources, and to really make the most of what we’ve been given. For us, simplicity doesn’t mean going without—it just means making room for what matters most.

We’re both involved in our church—Jacob serves on the worship team, and I’ve helped with design and children’s ministry. At some point, we felt a nudge to share more of our life—what we’ve learned, how we live, and the ways we’ve seen God show up in the ordinary. That’s when we started our YouTube channel. It’s nothing fancy—just a space to open our doors, share what’s been meaningful to us, and connect with others who want to live with intention too.

Our days are full—of boys, messes, meals, noise, and grace. There’s always something going on, but underneath it all is a quiet rhythm. A sense of peace. A desire to build something that lasts—not just for us, but for those around us.

And our story? It’s still unfolding. One prayer, one decision, one faithful step at a time.

the name

field of boaz

We chose the name Field of Boaz because it speaks so deeply to who we are and what we want this space to be. In the Bible, Boaz’s field was more than just land—it was a place of provision, grace, and new beginnings. Ruth came there during a tough season, and Boaz’s kindness and faithfulness brought restoration and hope.

For us, this name feels like a perfect picture of what we want to build—a kind of fertile ground where people can come to be encouraged, to grow, and to find grace in the everyday. It’s about creating a space rooted in faith, community, and the beauty of transformation.

Just like the field, we want this to be a place where life is cultivated slowly and intentionally, where there’s room to grow and heal, and where God’s faithfulness is at the center of it all.

And, well—our last name is Boaz, so it just felt right.
